
An arrest has been made in connection to the early morning shooting that occurred in the vicinity of Burke and Vine around 6:25am Thursday morning.
Devin Antesse Jones, 25, is being held in Craighead County Detention Center on suspicion of first degree battery.
This is in connection with the shooting on Burke in Jonesboro. It was the third shooting in 24 hours, happening early Thursday.
Jones was apprehended by JPD as the lead suspect regarding his connection to the shooting of 24 year old Kalen Prunty around 6:30am on Friday, August 1.
He was transported to JPD to be questioned and was later booked into the Craighead County Detention Center to await his Probable Cause hearing.
Jones appeared before Judge Fowler Friday afternoon and was charged with Battery in the 1st Degree. He was given a bond of $125,000 and will be held at CCDC to await his First Appearance on September 27.
