Jonesboro, Ark. – This Tuesday, Team Jonesboro plans to further energize supporters by officially revealing its project recommendation list they plan to present to the Oversight Integrity Council.
The event is scheduled to begin at 5pm at the Forum Theater and is being billed as an informational event with a touch of flair to kick off the campaign. Among the details the group plans to discuss at the rollout are recent comparative cost of similar projects, estimated cost of unique proposals, budgeting methodology of the initiative and the reasoning behind why certain projects are being perused by the campaign.
An integral part of the Team Jonesboro Initiative will be the creation a one cent local sales tax, half of which will be dedicated to quality of life improvements and half to public safety. Representatives of both the Jonesboro Police and Fire Departments will be on hand to layout how they plan to invest more than 100 million dollars directly into public safety.
The event is open to the public and Team Jonesboro encourages everyone who is interesting in learning more about the initiative to attend.
A Special Election for the Team Jonesboro Initiative has been set for September 10th. Team Jonesboro encourages anyone who wants to learn more or to get involved to visit their website, TeamJonesboro.com
