JONESBORO, Ark. – An arrest has been made in three aggravated robbery cases in Jonesboro in collaboration with the West Memphis PD and Crittenden County Sheriff’s Office.
Brandon Caldwell, 19 years old, from Jonesboro, was arrested in West Memphis Wednesday, February 27, 2019. He is alleged to have robbed the Citgo gas station on E. Highland on December 5, 2018 along with the Dollar General, located on E. Highland on Jan 29th and Dollar General, February 14th on Stadium Blvd.
In two of the incidents, Caldwell entered the businesses armed with a hand gun and proceeded to point it at the clerks that were working the registers, JPD said. He demanded for them to hand over cash. He then would flee on foot after the robberies.
Brandon Caldwell is being held at the Craighead County Detention center awaiting his probable cause hearing on Friday, March 1
