
JONESBORO, Ark. – A teen was killed Monday evening in an accident in Jonesboro, a media release confirmed to NEA Report.
It happened at about 9:25 PM Monday night, April 2, 2018. The teen, a 17-year-old girl, was driving a 2007 Nissan 350Z northbound on South Caraway Road when it topped a hill and went into the oncoming lane of traffic, the officer wrote in the narrative.
The driver lost control of the vehicle, as it went off the road crossing back across the northbound lane. The vehicle struck a concrete culvert to the driveway of 6506 South Caraway Road, finally coming to a rest in the yard.
She was pronounced deceased at the scene of the wreck.
The Jonesboro Police Department, Jonesboro Fire Department, and Medic One Ambulance Service responded to the scene.
