
Suspected in similar thefts in Cordova, Memphis, and Southaven: report
JONESBORO, Ark. – A suspect reported to have stolen from a number of Ulta Beauty stores in the region struck Tuesday afternoon in Jonesboro, a report with JPD said.
At about 4:25 PM, police were sent to Ulta at 3031 East Highland Drive in reference to the theft. The manager told authorities the suspect entered the store, grabbed a carrying bag, and went to the fragrance aisle. Once there, he filled the bag full of merchandise and started walking toward the exit. An employee tried to contact him but he continued out the door. He jumped in a black Mercedes-Benz car and left the scene.
The suspect is described as a black male, age 25 to 35, with natural short hair, goatee, slender build, standing about 5’11” and weighing about 170 pounds. The suspect vehicle was described as a black Mercedes-Benz 350 Series.
The same suspect is believed to have been behind similar thefts at Ulta stores in the region, including in Cordova and Memphis in Tennessee and in Southaven, Mississippi, the report said.
