High School Art Show Opens at Williams

WALNUT RIDGE, Ark. – The first annual high school art exhibit has opened at Williams Baptist College. A large crowd was on hand for the opening reception Monday evening in WBC’s Maddox Center Art Gallery.

The exhibit, which runs through Feb. 21, features artwork from high school students across Northeast Arkansas. Gallery hours are from 8 a.m. – 5 p.m., and the public is invited. There is no entry fee.

An untitled watercolor by Kelsey Moody of Hoxie High School is one of the works on display at Williams Baptist College’s first annual high school art exhibit.

Williams is a Christian, liberal arts university in Walnut Ridge. It will formally become Williams Baptist University in July.
