JONESBORO, Ark. – The spring 2018 session of The Citizen Police Academy will begin on Thursday, March 8th and qualifying members of the community are invited and encouraged to attend.
JPD is excited to begin accepting applications, a post on Facebook said. If you are interested in participating in this program please contact jpdinfo@jonesboro.org and an application will be sent to you.
The eligibility requirements are as follows:
– applicants must be at least 21 years of age
– you must live or work in Craighead County
– have no prior felony arrests
– have had no serious misdemeanor arrest in the last 2 years
– commit to attending 75% of the classes during the session
