
TV, expensive jewelry stolen
JONESBORO, Ark. – For only four and a half hours, a woman left her home in Jonesboro. In that short time, burglars took thousands of dollars worth of her belongings.
It happened Saturday evening at the 700-block of Vine Street in Jonesboro, at an apartment. A woman, 26, said she had left her home at about 2 p.m. and returned at about 6:48 p.m. While she was gone, burglars hit her home. A back bedroom window was found busted by police. It was broken from the outside. Glass was on the floor inside of the bedroom.
When the thieves got into her home, they took several items of value.
- A 65″ Vizio flat screen TV was stolen ($1,200)
- Yellow gold band ring with three diamond stones ($2,000)
- Red Chi hair dryer ($200)
- Blue Chi hair straightener ($200)
- Purple HP Laptop ($700)
Neighbors were contacted. Unfortunately, they did not report hearing or seeing anything during the time of the incident.
Additional patrols were added to the neighborhood.
