
PARAGOULD, Ark. – A man is charged with first degree murder stemming from an August gas station incident in Marmaduke.
Second Judicial District Prosecuting Attorney Scott Ellington announced Friday that his office has filed formal charges against Adam Casey Brown for Murder in the First Degree. It is a class Y felony.
Adam Casey Brown, 37, of Hornersville, Missouri, is accused of shooting and killing Jeremy Green at the Valero gas station in Marmaduke, Ark. on August 4, 2017.
Brown’s next court appearance will be in Greene County Circuit Court on October 26, 2017.
All defendants are presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
The deputy prosecutor assigned to the case is Robert Thompson.
The arrest warrant provided to NEA Report states on August 4, at 10 a.m., Brown and Rachelle Green met Jeremy Green at the Valero, 11402 U.S. 49 in Marmaduke. Jeremy was standing at the rear of his vehicle talking with Brown, the affidavit states, when Brown allegedly pulled a pistol from his holster, pointed it at Jeremy, and fired the weapon.
Jeremy Green was killed.
Brown is set to appear at 9 a.m. on October 26 in Greene County Circuit Court.
