
JONESBORO, Ark. – Jonesboro’s largest ongoing construction project reached a major milestone when the final beam went into place on Tuesday morning.
First National Financial Park was officially “topped out” at a ceremony held at the construction site. Those in attendance signed the beam before it was hoisted into place.
“This is a big day for this project and for First National Bank,” said Jonesboro Community Bank President Matt Rankin, “Jonesboro is growing and we want to grow along with it and invest in this community.”
Once completed, First National Financial Park will among the largest, most innovative banking facilities in Northeast Arkansas. It will feature a community room for public events and a walking trail encircling a pond.
The project will be completed in 2018.
First National Bank was founded in 1889 and has 14 locations in Arkansas with three existing locations in Jonesboro, the first of which opened in 1998.
