Jonesboro restaurant cited for insect issue in kitchen

JONESBORO, Ark. – The fish in the water fountain are allowed but the bugs found in the kitchen have to go.

A Jonesboro restaurant faced scrutiny on Friday, March 31, as health inspection reports were released to the media and showed an unusually unsightly admonishment. Hibachi Grill and Supreme Buffet, 1699 Red Wolf Boulevard in Jonesboro, was cited for an insect issue in the kitchen. The bug issue was found on March 28.

The report said pest control services were needed at the location. It mentioned several other cleanliness issues.

Insect present in kitchen; control pests, pest control service call needed. Food storage shelves in walk-in cooler need to be cleaned. Walls under washing facilities need to be cleaned. Floors need to be cleaned in kitchen from wall to wall. Clean exterior surfaces of food storage containers.
