HOXIE, Ark. – A 15-year-old teenager died from a wreck near Bono on Wednesday.

The child was one of five involved in a wreck Wednesday afternoon north of Bono on U.S. 63. The Arkansas State Police crash report says a 1998 Chevrolet, driven by Dustin Harmon, 18, of Hoxie, crossed the centerline into the path of a 2011 Ford in the northbound lane. A 67-year-old Hardy resident, Carol Shearson, was driving the Ford along with two minors – a 6 and 3-year-olds.

The injured were taken to St. Bernard’s Medical Center and Lebonheur’s Children’s Hospital in Memphis.

Conditions were listed as dry and clear at the time of the wreck and next of kin were notified, the report said.
