1st Annual NEA Susan G. Komen race to be announced Tuesday

JONESBORO, Ark. – A press conference set for Tuesday morning will announce the details of the first Northeast Arkansas Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure.

At 10 a.m. Tuesday in the Municipal Center in Jonesboro, the details of the first Annual Northeast Arkansas Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure will be revealed to media outlets. Press releases will also be distributed to outlets at and following the event.

Race posters and yard signs will be presented at the announcement, according to a news release.

The race will be held on May 6.

The founding sponsor of the event is St. Bernard’s Healthcare.

Jonesboro Mayor Harold Perrin made mention of the announcement last week at his State of the City address.
