JONESBORO, Ark. – Two Jonesboro teens face charges in juvenile court for sending nude photos to each other.
The alleged incident was reported to Jonesboro Police Department on Monday afternoon. School resource officer Brian Sawyer was at Jonesboro High School when the assistant principal, Dr. Shannon Lewis, reported a parent came to his office complaining about her daughter and another JHS student, both 16-years-old, exchanging nude photos of one another.
When the mother questioned her daughter, she said the girl admitted she sent nude photos back to the boy.
Two phones belonging to both students and two laptops assigned to the teens were taken into evidence by JPD.
The two face misdemeanor charges of possession of sexually explicit digital material, but will face the charge in juvenile court.
