
JONESBORO, Ark. – Many who made the choice to drive in the snow on Friday ended up in accidents.
Jonesboro E911 reported over 80 accidents by 10 a.m. Friday morning.
Some roadways were blocked and travel was not advised if optional. The Greene County Sheriff’s Department closed Highway 351 at Highway 358.

Most area schools dismissed classes for the day, with many events also canceled. The Clover Bend meeting with State Rep. Fran Cavenaugh has been canceled and will be rescheduled.
Animal Control has canceled Saturday’s scheduled low cost vaccination clinic due to weather.
