
JONESBORO, Ark. – A man using his musical talents with religious purpose has received national recognition and it could go even further.
Zach Williams has been nominated for a Grammy award for Best Contemporary Christian Music Performance/Song for “Chain Breaker.” Williams, an NEA resident, performed and co-authored the song.
Jonesboro native Jonathan Smith is also nominated for co-writing the song.
Williams is presently touring with his “Finding Favour” tour. He will perform on Dec. 17 at Westside High School in Jonesboro.
The 59th Annual Grammy Awards will air on CBS Sunday, Feb. 12.
