JONESBORO, Ark. – A man who shares a name with “The Duke” was arrested for a habit you would be unlikely to find his famous counterpart partaking in.
John Wayne Barber, 47, of Jonesboro, found himself on the wrong side of the law Friday during a spot check on him, being paroled. It happened at the Cedar Heights Apartments.
Inside of Barber’s apartment, two metal crack pipes wrapped in paper towels, a small plate with a suspect crack rock on it, a razor blade with white residue and a paper sack with metal filters and metal rods were discovered.
Barber was charged with two felonies, possession of drugs and paraphernalia.
