NEA Baptist to Host Annual Women’s Day on October 6th

Jonesboro, Ark.,  — In the spirit of Breast Cancer Awareness month, NEA Baptist will be hosting the third annual Women’s Day on Thursday, October 6 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. to bring awareness to women on various health issues.

The free event is located in the NEA Baptist Clinic lobby at 4802 E. Johnson Ave. It will include screenings such as 3D mammogram vouchers (to those who qualify), blood pressure, cholesterol, blood sugar and BMI.

In addition to offering free women’s health screenings, Women’s day at NEA will also provide educational information on various women’s health topics, fun activities such as goody bags and door prizes, free pink manicures, free mini massages and wellness and fitness tips from experts.

According to http://www.breastcancer.org, 1 in 8 U.S. women will develop invasive breast cancer. It is time to bring out the pink, be aware and join together in the fight against breast cancer.
