CLAY COUNTY, Ark. – A man found Saturday evening in Clay County died from accidentally drowning, according to the sheriff.
At 6:47 p.m. Saturday evening, Clay County Dispatch received the call about a body found in Black River. The body was sent to the Arkansas Crime Lab.
The lab returned autopsy results confirming the identity as Dennis Franks.
Clay County Sheriff Terry Miller said the lab ruled the death as an accidental drowning.
Miller also expressed condolences to the family.
