Press Release – Paul Holmes, Jonesboro Police Department
Members of the Second Judicial District Drug Task Force and the Jonesboro Police Department SWAT team Friday morning executed a search warrant on an apartment on Griffin Street and arrested two men on methamphetamine-related charges.
Officers held bench warrants for McKinley Williams, 60, 3085 Griffin No. 3, accusing him of

two counts of delivery of methamphetamine as well as a search warrant for his residence. When officers entered the apartment, they arrested Williams and a second occupant, Michael Holt Henson, 33.
Officers found approximately eight grams of methamphetamine and items of drug paraphernalia in Williams’ possession and approximately 1.7 grams of methamphetamine in Henson’s possession.

The two suspects were taken to the Craighead County Jail pending probable cause hearings Monday. Williams is expected to be charged with possession of methamphetamine with purpose to deliver and possession of drug paraphernalia and Henson is expected to be charged with possession of methamphetamine.
District Judge Keith Blackman set temporary bonds of $200,000 for Williams and $25,000 for Henson. In asking for the $200,000 bond for Williams, DTF agents noted that at the time of his arrest on Friday, Williams was free on two bonds set in January when Williams was arrested in two separate methamphetamine-related cases.
