
JONESBORO, Ark. – Authorities are looking into who may have spray painted silhouettes of pistols on property at a Jonesboro fire station.
The report came in at 8:52 p.m. Thursday, when Jonesboro Police Department dispatched an officer to Fire Station 3, 2212 Brazos Street. Officers made contact with a firefighter who had discovered the mischievous act.
The firefighter said he was walking around the fire station when he noticed silhouettes of a pistol painted on top of the air conditioning unit. Four different outlines of pistols were painted with orange spray paint. It appeared as if two different pistols were used to paint the outlines. The paint was also dry by the time it was discovered.
Photos were taken and a report was made. Offenders could face second degree criminal mischief charges.
