JONESBORO, Ark. – Police in Jonesboro responded to a shots fired call on the morning of July 4.

It happened at the 3100-block of Parkwood Street. Jonesboro Officer Jacob Daffron responded and spoke with a resident who said his home had been shot. When the officer investigated, he found two windows had been shot out with what appeared to be a shotgun, leaving pellets in the debris. He photographed the evidence.

A nearby witness reported a white Chevrolet Blazer-style vehicle driving away after hearing the shots just before noon on July 3.

The resident told officers he had gotten into an argument with a man going by the name “Twin.” Daffron researched and was able to locate a suspect who went by that alias and also had a white SUV in his driveway.

Cordell Hughes, 26, of Jonesboro, is wanted by police and could face a felony charge of committing a terroristic act.
