JONESBORO, Ark. — A local man was killed in a helicopter crash Sunday afternoon.
Floyd Vuncannon, 73, of Jonesboro, was killed in the crash, Craighead County Sheriff Marty Boyd told NEA Report on Monday morning.
The crash happened Sunday afternoon at the Classic Airstrip, 5353 Arkansas 18 at Jonesboro.
Boyd said the aircraft took off and crashed a short time later, with Jonesboro Dispatch getting the call around 3:30 p.m.
