JONESBORO — The Delta Center for Economic Development at Arkansas State University has opened applications for the next cohort of the Northeast Arkansas Regional Leadership Accelerator Academy, a year-long leadership development program designed to strengthen leadership capacity and collaboration across the 17-county Northeast Arkansas region.
The Academy brings together emerging and established leaders from business, education, healthcare, government, and nonprofit sectors to build practical skills, expand regional networks, and address shared challenges impacting Northeast Arkansas communities.
Participants engage in six facilitated, day-long sessions focused on communication, strategic planning, leadership under pressure, collaboration across backgrounds, influence and negotiation, and mentorship.
The program emphasizes hands-on learning and real-world application, equipping leaders to immediately apply what they learn within their organizations and communities.
“The Northeast Arkansas Regional Leadership Accelerator Academy is built for leaders who want to make a tangible difference,” said Andrea Allen, executive director of the Delta Center for Economic Development. “By investing in the growth of our region’s leaders, we are investing in the long-term success of Northeast Arkansas.”
Applications are open to motivated professionals aged 21 and older who live or work in Northeast Arkansas and demonstrate a commitment to leadership and community impact. The application deadline is Friday, Nov. 13.
Selected participants will be notified in late November, with the next cohort beginning sessions in January.
