Man Dies After Late-Night Shooting at Jonesboro Apartment Complex

JONESBORO, Ark. — A homicide investigation is underway after a man was shot and killed late Sunday night at a Jonesboro apartment complex.

According to the Jonesboro Police Department, officers responded around 11:10 p.m. to the 1100 block of Walker Place following a report of a shooting.

When officers arrived, they found a man suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. Medical personnel transported the victim to a local hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.

Jonesboro Police detectives were called to the scene and are leading the investigation.

Theodis Haggins, 42, was identified as the victim.
