MARVELL, Ark. — At the request of the Marvell Police Department, the Arkansas State Police (ASP) Criminal Investigation Division (CID) is investigating a shooting that injured three people in Marvell on Saturday, July 4, 2026.
The shooting occurred at the intersection of Main and McKinney streets, where the three men were wounded: a 37-year-old and a 33-year-old, both residents of Marvell, and a 32-year-old from Pulaski County.
Two of the victims were transported to Helena Regional Medical Center, where they were treated and released the same day. The third victim was transported to Regional One Health in Memphis with multiple gunshot wounds.
Upon completion of the investigation, Special Agents will submit the case file to the Phillips County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office for review and a determination of any criminal charges.
The investigation is ongoing. No additional information will be released at this time.
