JONESBORO, Ark. — A Jonesboro suspect was arrested after police said a domestic disturbance escalated into allegations that she struck one victim with a glass, threw hot grease during the fight and later grabbed a knife.
Nautica Rogers, 26, of Jonesboro, was arrested on charges of aggravated assault on a family or household member, a Class D felony, and third-degree domestic battery, a Class A misdemeanor.
According to the incident narrative, officers were dispatched on March 20, 2026, to the 900 block of Paragould Drive in reference to a disturbance that had already occurred.
When an officer arrived, Rogers came out of the garage yelling that she was pregnant and wanted to press charges, the report said.
One victim told police Rogers had been throwing things at another victim. According to the report, Rogers then struck that victim in the face with a glass. The officer noted that victim was bleeding from the nose and had blood on a shirt.
Police said their investigation found an argument had occurred between Rogers and another victim, though it was unclear who started the argument or the first physical act. A third person, who had been in a bedroom, came out and attempted to stop Rogers and the other victim from fighting, according to the report.
During the incident, police said Rogers picked up a pot containing grease and attempted to throw it at one victim. The report said the grease instead ended up on the third person.
Authorities also alleged Rogers grabbed a knife and attempted to attack one of the victims. According to the report, the third person was able to grab the knife and prevent Rogers from stabbing either himself or the other victim.
Rogers’ next court date is April 23. Judge Ralph Wilson set bail at $7,500 cash or surety.
All suspects are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
