Woman Accused of Swinging Knife During Domestic Disturbance

JONESBORO, Ark. — A Jonesboro defendant is accused of swinging a knife during an argument and cutting the alleged victim’s arm, according to a police affidavit.

On Nov. 27, 2025, officers responded to a residence on Hope Avenue for a domestic disturbance. Officers spoke with both individuals and determined they had been in an argument that became physical.

The alleged victim told police he woke Roshelle K. Rogers, 30, to begin getting food together for the holiday, which upset her. He stated Rogers began swinging a knife during the argument and sliced his left arm.

Officers reported seeing the injury. The alleged victim provided the pocketknife said to have been used, and police noted blood was still visible on the blade. Rogers was taken into custody and transported to the Craighead County Detention Center.

Rogers is charged with second-degree domestic battering, a Class B felony.

Bail was set at $50,000 cash or surety.

All suspects are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
