JONESBORO, Ark. — One person is dead and another injured after a shooting incident Thursday on Broadmoor in Jonesboro, police said.
Jonesboro police officers responded to the incident and located two people who had been shot, according to JPD public information specialist Sally Smith.
A victim was transported to an area hospital for treatment. Her present condition is unknown. A male was deceased at the scene, Smith confirmed.
No suspects are being sought at this time, JPD said in a post to social media.
Additional details, including the names of the victims, have not yet been released.
The investigation is ongoing.
