PARAGOULD, Ark. — Convicted sex offender Jonathan Enoch Bricker’s bail for felony failure to appear was set at $1 million cash-only on Thursday in Greene County.
Bricker must not use the internet or social media as part of his bond agreement for the felony case, as well.
On top of that, a $5,000 cash-only bail was set for several misdemeanor harassment communication charges, with a no-contact order for the victim in that case. This case also includes a stipulation for no internet.
Deputy Prosecuting Attorney Robert Thompson requested both the high bond and the condition of no internet use, which the judge agreed with. DPA Adam Butler is assigned to the failure-to-appear case. Prosecuting Attorney Sonia Hagood was also present. Judge Dan Stidham set bail.
Records from the Greene County Detention Center show Bricker, 43, was booked at 6:30 a.m. Aug. 29 after being extradited from Puerto Rico.
After numerous delays, Bricker failed to appear for his probation revocation hearing on July 14, prompting Circuit Judge Melissa Richardson to order him entered into the National Crime Information Center with a nationwide extradition notation. He was arrested July 23 in San Juan, Puerto Rico.
Bricker, a former MMA fighter and level three sex offender, was originally convicted in 2019 of possessing and distributing child sexual abuse material. Since his release, he has been accused of multiple violations of his probation, including failure to register as a sex offender, making false statements to law enforcement, and other arrests.
All suspects are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
