Paragould Man Faces Felony Trafficking Charge After Fentanyl Allegedly Found in Vehicle

PARAGOULD, Ark. — A man is facing a Class Y felony drug trafficking charge after a parole search recently in Paragould.

The probable cause affidavit from the Paragould Police Department states that on July 1, 2025, agents with the Arkansas Community Corrections searched a vehicle in their office parking lot that belonged to Jesse Duane Page. Page is reportedly on active parole with a search waiver on file. The affidavit says that Page was a passenger in the vehicle.

During the search, agents found 1.7 grams of fentanyl located in the center console area next to the emergency brake of the vehicle.

During a subsequent interview, agents reported Page admitted that he placed the fentanyl in the location where it was found.

Jesse Page, 44, faces a charge of trafficking a controlled substance for having more than one gram of fentanyl. It is punishable by not less than 25 years, nor more than 60 years, or life, and a fine of $1 million.

The defendant was ordered held without bond on this charge, according to his PC affidavit.

All suspects are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
