Two Arrested in Cherokee Village in Child Exploitation Investigation

CHEROKEE VILLAGE, Ark. — Two people from Cherokee Village have been arrested in connection with multiple child exploitation offenses, according to a press release from the Arkansas State Police.

Jesse Wilson, 34, was arrested March 13 after state police executed a search warrant based on a cyber tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children. He faces 40 felony counts of possession of child sexual abuse material and one count of possession of firearms by certain persons. Wilson is a Level 3 registered sex offender, the release stated.

In a related case, Rebecca Huffmaster, 30, was arrested May 5 on two felony counts of conspiracy to commit rape of a child under 14 and two counts of sexual grooming of a minor.

Wilson and Huffmaster are being held at the Sharp County Detention Center. State police said the investigation is ongoing and additional charges are anticipated.

All suspects are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
