Man Arrested at Scrapyard for Trespassing, Possession of Burglary Tools

PARAGOULD, Ark. — A suspect faces felony charges after his recent encounter with police in Paragould.

The probable cause affidavit states that at approximately 10:00 PM on March 14, Paragould officers responded to a report of breaking or entering at a local scrapyard. Upon arrival, law enforcement discovered Nathan Warren on the premises. Warren was found in possession of burglary tools and a glass pipe commonly associated with methamphetamine use, according to authorities.

Warren admitted to officers that he had entered the fenced-in property but claimed he had not stolen anything, the affidavit said. Subsequently, officers arrested Warren at the scene. He was then transported to Greene County Jail.

Nathan Warren, 47, of Paragould, is being charged with Breaking or Entering and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, both Class D felonies. Judge Dan Stidham set bail at $20,000 cash-only. An ankle monitor requirement and a no-contact order are in place.

All suspects are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
