JONESBORO, Ark. — A woman is facing a felony charge after she was allegedly caught stealing money from a cash register while at work at Walmart in Jonesboro.
On Nov. 29, officers with the Jonesboro Police Department were dispatched to Walmart on Highland Drive in Jonesboro about a theft. Loss prevention agents explained to officers they had witnessed an employee taking money from the register where she was working.
The affidavit alleges that agents discovered she had stolen over $1,000 in cash from the register.
However, there was also concern she may have taken money on other occasions. The affidavit said loss prevention agents planned to check security camera footage for different incidents.
Terra Aubrie Beck, 23, of Jonesboro, was arrested for theft, greater than $1,000 but less than $5,000, a Class D felony. On Monday, Dec. 2, bail was set at $15,000 cash or surety at the recommendation of the deputy prosecuting attorney.
All suspects are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
