Argument Escalates into Shooting Friday Morning in Jonesboro

JONESBORO, Ark. – A Friday morning dispute led to gunfire in Jonesboro, according to a report released this week by police.

It happened between 10:40 AM and 11:08 AM on June 21 at an apartment at 407 E. Allen Avenue. The report released Monday by JPD mentions some type of domestic violence and argument as a possible circumstance but the report doesn’t list a relationship between the suspect and victims.

The report’s MO says that the suspect fired a shot in the direction of the victims during the dispute.

Fortunately, no injuries are mentioned in the report.

The suspect is described as a 37-year-old black female. The report mentions a suspect vehicle: a white, newer model Dodge Durango. The license plates weren’t known.

The suspect could face felony charges included first degree terroristic threatening and aggravated assault on a family or household member, according to the report.

All suspects are innocent until proven guilty.
