Jenni Crowned Miss WBU 2024

WALNUT RIDGE, Ark. – Treasure Jenni, a Christian Ministries major from Russellville, Ark., was crowned Miss WBU Thursday, March 14 at the Southerland-Mabee Center on the Campus of Williams Baptist University.

The junior captured the title with her rendition of “Stand by Me,” pre-pageant interview, on-stage presence and combined score throughout the competition. Tweedy is the daughter of John Jenni and Kelly Hensley.

Jenni is in the Williams Works program and has worked on Eagle Farms and currently works on the Williams Works Lawn Crew that services Walnut Ridge and Pocahontas. She plans on graduating and going into the mission field to do humanitarian work.

Rebecca Simington, a biology major from Imboden, Ark., was the first runner-up and also took home the award for best talent after dazzling the crowd with a flag routine. Courtney Tucker, a liberal arts major from Trumann, Ark., was the second runner-up.

Zaelin Morris, a Health and Physical Education K-12 major from Mayflower, Ark., was named the People’s Choice award winner and also took home the title of Miss Congeniality.

A total of 10 contestants took part in the contest, which was held before a large crowd in the SMC.  Contestants were judged based on interview, talent and evening gown competition.

Williams is a private, Christian university in Walnut Ridge, Ark.
