Kum & Go Brand to Be Phased Out by 2025, Report Indicates

JONESBORO, Ark. – Kum & Go gas stations across NEA will soon be getting a new name, according to a report.

Following a decision by the parent company to sell Kum & Go, a new report from CSP Daily News indicates that the ‘Kum & Go’ brand will soon be retired in favor of the ‘Maverik’ brand.

Sources tell CSP Daily News the family-run Maverik company believes the Maverik brand resonates more impactfully than Kum & Go did.

“I think there was some concern about the inadvertent double entendre of the Kum & Go name,” a former Maverik member told CSP Daily News.

Another source told a reporter that Maverik plans for further acquisitions and it is probably easier to focus on one brand.
