Early Hours Grinch: Suspected Car Prowler Spotted Near NEA Baptist in Jonesboro

JONESBORO, Ark. – A suspicious person was caught on camera looking through cars early Friday in Jonesboro.

Around 3:30 AM on Dec. 22 near Hemingway/Ocean Drive, by NEA Baptist hospital, a suspect wearing dark pants and a bright colored hoodie can be seen looking into a parked car for valuables before walking out of frame.

“Santa may not be in town yet, but it looks like the grinch is!” wrote MaKayla McGonigal in the post.

Several incidents were reported to police this week involving thefts from vehicle. A 9mm was stolen from a car between Dec. 20 and Dec. 21 from the 3800-block of Bridlewood Drive. Two more guns were stolen from a victim’s vehicle between Dec. 21 and early Dec. 22 from the 1100-block of Paragould Drive.
