Weekend Burglary Leaves Victim Missing Two MacBooks and an Apple Watch

JONESBORO, Ark. – A woman woke up Sunday morning in Jonesboro to find a burglar in her apartment. The suspect is believed to have stolen several valuables.

The incident occurred between 4 AM and 4:15 AM on Sunday, October 29, at the 500-block of North Caraway Road. A 24-year-old female reported to police that she was awakened by a noise, and when she looked up, she saw a black male with a gray hoodie. She said she asked who he was, and he said he was looking for Ronnie in room 628. She told him he had the wrong room, and he left. That’s when she noticed several missing valuables. Two MacBooks were stolen, along with a black Apple Watch. The total value of the stolen property was just under $5,000, making the theft itself a felony.

The suspect left in a red convertible car, the report said.

Police tried to locate the vehicle passing through the intersection camera at Johnson and Caraway, but they could not locate it.

Detectives have encountered a roadblock in the case and need more leads to continue the investigation. If you have any information that could assist the police, you’re encouraged to contact JPD about this case.
