Jonesboro Man Arrested for Aggravated Assault After Allegedly Pulling Gun During Fight

JONESBORO, Ark. – A Jonesboro man faces a felony charge of aggravated assault after allegedly pulling a gun during an altercation.

The incident occurred just after midnight on September 5 at the 1400-block of Links Drive, according to a police report.

Authorities responded to a call reporting a man wielding a gun and making threats. The police report suggests that an argument between Cameron Harston, 22, and the alleged victim led to the incident.

JPD’s Public Information Officer Sally Smith told NEA Report that Harston said he received a phone call from the victim and was accused of kicking in a door. The suspect told police he went to confront the victim about the accusation, which led to the alleged incident.

Harston was arrested for aggravated assault.
