HARRISBURG, Ark. — The Poinsett County Sheriff’s Office is mourning the death of K-9 Deputy Drex, who died over the weekend.
Sheriff Kevin Molder remembered Drex for his loyalty, courage and dedication to Poinsett County.
Drex served alongside his handler, Deputy Devin Blevins. The sheriff’s office described Drex as a trusted partner, faithful protector and cherished member of its family.
“His service to Poinsett County will never be forgotten,” Molder said.
The announcement did not include Drex’s age, length of service or cause of death.
