JONESBORO, Ark. – A Jonesboro resident became the victim of a two-fold break-in, involving both her vehicle and residence, according to a police report. The incident occurred between midnight and 7 AM on September 5 at the 200-block of East Cherry Avenue.

An unknown suspect initially entered the victim’s unlocked Lincoln MKZ and stole her purse, which contained IDs and other significant personal documents. The thief then entered her apartment at the same address and made off with several items, including a 55-inch 4K Roku Smart TV still under installment payment with Aaron’s, and an unidentified brand printer.

The police report indicated that there was no evidence of forced entry into the home. Authorities believe that the keys to the residence, which were in the vehicle, provided easy access to the apartment.

As of the latest update, the case remains stalled due to a lack of leads. Jonesboro police are urging anyone with information to come forward.
