Jonesboro Woman Arrested Following ‘Shots Fired’ Report

JONESBORO, Ark.– A Jonesboro woman was arrested after police responded to a shots fired call earlier this week.

Kassandra M. Felix, a 43-year-old resident of Jonesboro, was arrested after law enforcement responded to a reported gunfire incident.

The event took place around 10:26 PM on August 7, when officers were dispatched to an apartment located at the 3700-block of South Stadium following a call about shots being fired, resulting in property damage. Upon inspection, officers documented damage to two distinct walls in the apartment.

Felix was subsequently apprehended and has been charged with possession of a firearm by certain persons, which is a felony. She is also facing charges for discharging a firearm within the city limits and second-degree criminal mischief. In the course of the arrest, police confiscated a 9mm pistol.

Jonesboro Police Department continues its investigation into the circumstances surrounding the event.
