Jonesboro Man Arrested After Children Found Wandering Busy Intersection

JONESBORO – A local man was taken into custody after his children were discovered walking unattended at a busy intersection, according to Jonesboro police.

The incident occurred at approximately 3:41 PM on August 4. Authorities were alerted to the situation at the junction of Madison Street and Huntington Avenue, where they found a four-year-old girl and a seven-year-old boy navigating the busy intersection without supervision.

Marty Antonio Rolfe, 35, of Jonesboro (jail records show Forrest City), faces several charges in connection with the incident. He was arrested for endangering the welfare of a minor in the third degree, possession of marijuana, a failure to appear in court, and an outstanding warrant from another jurisdiction.
