Multiple Arrests Made in Jonesboro During Search for Felony Suspect

JONESBORO, Ark. – Police made six arrests this week in Jonesboro while looking for a man with a felony warrant.

The incident took place between 8:33 AM and 11:33 AM on June 26 at the 1800-block of Self Circle at a rental unit. According to the Jonesboro Police Department (JPD) report, officers were actively seeking 34-year-old Derrick Washington based on the felony warrant.

Upon arrival at the location, officers made contact with the owner, who stated that there were several individuals inside the residence, despite the fact that the homeowner had been away for a considerable period. Acting on this information, the officers proceeded to conduct a search of the premises.

During the search, law enforcement discovered multiple bags containing crystal methamphetamine. As a result, six individuals were taken into custody. The arrested individuals have been identified as 22-year-old Abigall Passmore, 33-year-old Leonte Macklin, 34-year-old Aubrey Brown, 30-year-old Lewis B. Dale, and 25-year-old Jolie Dalynn Wilburn, all residents of Jonesboro. The charges filed against them range from possession of methamphetamine, less than 2 grams, to possession of methamphetamine, greater than 2 grams but less than 10 grams. Jail records also indicate that Aubrey Brown faces an additional charge of probation revocation and has received a summons to appear in court.

Subsequently, the police successfully apprehended the primary suspect, Derrick Duan Washington, who prompted the initial search. According to jail records, Washington was booked into custody at 3:55 PM on June 26. He now faces charges of possession of methamphetamine, greater than 2 grams but less than 10 grams, as well as failure to appear.
