
UPDATED May 21: The suspect has been arrested

JONESBORO, Ark. – Authorities released new information today (May 16) in connection with the double homicide of an elderly couple last week in Craighead County.
The Craighead County Sheriff’s Office has a warrant issued for the arrest of Jonathan Dean Boyd (a.k.a. J.D. Boyd), 62, of Paragould, for two counts of murder in the first degree, aggravated robbery, and theft of firearm in connection with last week’s double homicide of Larry and Josey Boyd, the Craighead County Sheriff’s Office informed NEA Report.
Jonathan D. Boyd is considered armed and dangerous. If his whereabouts are known, authorities strongly urge you to contact your local law enforcement agency.

The suspect is the son Larry Boyd and stepson to Josey Boyd, according to authorities. His last known address was third street in Paragould.
