JONESBORO, Ark. – A woman was arrested Sunday night in Jonesboro for allegedly stabbing a roommate after he reportedly punched her in the face.

The incident report with JPD says it happened at about 10:08 PM on March 26 at the 2600-block of N. Church Street. Officers were dispatched to a call of a male having been stabbed and the suspect still on scene. Police arrived and spoke with witnesses as well as the involved parties.

At some point in the evening, an argument ensued between Andrew James Holland, 23, and Tera Folsy, 26, both residing at the same address listed above in Jonesboro. An officer reported that Holland said Folsy became aggressive and got into his face. He punched Folsy, the report says, who then picked up a knife and stabbed Holland.

The main portion of the investigative narrative was still masked to public view, making specifics of what happened unclear. The outcome of the investigation was one specific that was clear:

Folsy was arrested for second degree domestic battering, a Class C felony in Arkansas punishable by no less than three years but no more than ten years in prison.

The injuries were described as minor, with the victim being stabbed in the upper arm. Bandaging was already applied by the time authorities arrived. It was unclear if further medical treatment was required

The knife was taken into evidence.
