The First Community Bank Wonderland Rink is set to open for its seventh season at 4 p.m. Friday, and the Winter Wonderland exhibit next door will open at 6 p.m. Saturday, shortly after the day’s Joyfest activities.
The rink, located in the parking lot of the 300 block on Union Street, is open daily through Jan. 1. Please check available hours by searching for “Wonderland Rink” or “Winter Wonderland” on the Jonesboro.org website.
While the Winter Wonderland exhibit is free to all guests, skate sessions are $5 for an hour. Skates are provided. The Jonesboro Parks and Recreation Department manages and operates the skating rink each year as a part of all the Winter Wonderland activities, which kickoff Saturday with a wonderful Joyfest celebration.
Winter Wonderland is an indoor Christmas-themed walk-through entertainment venue. It features an array of holiday decorations and admission is completely free to the public. Winter Wonderland will bring some special guests this season like Anna and Elsa, not to mention several visits from Santa Claus.
For a full schedule of operating hours, special guests, and attractions. Please visit the Wonderland Rink page on the city website, jonesboro.org.
