Trumann police arrest two in shots fired call

Night shift officers with the TPD made two arrests after gunfire was reported to police on Tuesday.

On 09/21/21, the Trumann Police Department Third Shift officers Sgt. Jason Thomas, Officer Zach Fleming, and Officer Jonathan Penney arrested two suspects after responding to a shots fired call on Harrison Street in Trumann.

A release posted to Facebook said that a “thorough investigation” led to a search warrant of a residence and an arsenal of firearms was seized.

One firearm was found to be stolen.

The two arrested for Possession of a Firearm by a Certain Persons and Theft by Receiving (Firearm) will be held in lieu of a Probable Cause hearing.
