A release from police Thursday in Jonesboro stated that a couple was found dead in their home after apparently being shot.
It’s believed to be a murder-suicide, police updated the public.
On March 24 at approximately 7pm, a Jonesboro police officer was flagged down near Turtle Creek Rd in west Jonesboro. The complainant advised that he went to check on his mother and father in law and found them both deceased in their home from apparent gunshot wounds.
Other JPD officers and Crime Scene Investigators responded to the scene.
The investigation is ongoing.
